The great benefit of chair pads is that as well as adding additional decoration they are also highly functional. Sometimes hard pine kitchen chairs are just not that comfortable, lets face it. The addition of an extra cushion makes all the difference.

Most of these items are sold with a tie at the back of each cushion so that they can be removed for washing if necessary. When you are purchasing, its always a good idea to find out whether the chair pads are machine washable. Many tend to be dry clean only as this keeps the cushion in shape.

Rocking chair cushions come in many shapes and sizes and are highly sought for the maternal rocking chair in the corner on a child's nursery. There are some really wonderful designs on offer that I have seen whilst browsing the Internet, many with matching crib bedding. Some chair cushions can also be smart enough for use in your dining room. I have a set of hardwood dining room chairs that go together with our dining table. Because I found these chairs to uncomfortable, I decided to buy some appropriate formal chair cushions for this room. Many of our friends and family now comment on them every time we host a dinner party.
